How to get there

By public transport (Via Gotthard):
Train Gotthard, Bellinzona, Locarno. Change in the post bus direction Spruga (terminus).

By public transport (Via Brig):
Train Brig, Domodossola, Centovalli to Intragna. Short distance on foot to bus stop. Bus to Spruga.

By car (via Gotthard):
ighway A2 / E35, exit Bellinzona South – expressway direction Locarno – after bypass tunnel Exit direction Valle Maggia, Centovalli, Onsernone. In Ponte Brolla turn left, continue through Tegna, Verscio. In Cavigliano turn right into the Onsernonetal up to the turning point in Spruga. If all parking spaces are occupied back to the village entrance and car park along the road.

By car (via Visp/Brig):
Brig, Simplon, Val Vigezzo, Centovalli to Intragna. At the village exit turn left, until Cavigliano. There you turn left again into the Onsernone valley. Continuation see above.

Afterwards walk from Spruga (1100m) approx. 45 minutes on mountain path direction Alpe Salei to Piansecco (1430m). On request, you can send your luggage up with the new cable car for transporting goods.
